Hundreds of Miles of Streets Cleaned in 5 hours

160+ 4-mile Routes centered on LA Metro stations.

On a single day in late 2019, about a thousand volunteers will turn out to make a noticeable improvement to the greater Los Angeles region. Teams of 6-8 volunteers will each walk an approximate 4-mile route, picking up litter from sidewalks, gutters, and fences.

Each route starts and ends at one of LA Metro's 132 subway, light rail, or express bus stations. Kicking off with a morning briefing and distribution of supplies (bags, gloves, grabbers, maps, T-shirts, etc), volunteers fan out on the Metro system to clean their routes. When they are done, they will return to downtown LA to celebrate their achievement - simultaneously UNLITTERING hundreds of miles of Southland streets!

You, your company or organization can be part of this exciting event, by in-kind or cash sponsorships of supplies, transportation, and perks for volunteers. Event-level and Route-level sponsorships are available (some ideas below). Contact us to find out more.

Once we've solidified our event date, group sign-ups and individual sign-ups will be open. You will be able to select your preferred clean-up route (as available, first come, first served). Email us on the link below, and we'll let you know when sign-ups open. We won't bother you with anything other than event updates, and your information will not be provided to any third party.
