Welcome to the largest urban street cleanup event ever attempted. Together we can make a difference and bring change to our city.

All volunteers as well as parents or guardians of volunteers under 18 must sign a waiver (read it here) at check-in on the day of the event.

You can sign up under your name for multiple people to walk routes, so round up family and friends, and indicate how many you have coming. If you have more later, just have them show up at your selected hubsite the morning of the event.

Please choose how you want to volunteer:

Walk a 2 to 3-1/2 mile route with a team, starting and ending at one of our hubsites throughout the region. It’s not hard work (some say it’s actually relaxing) using a litter grabber to pick up only what you’re comfortable with. Some routes require a short Metro train or bus ride from the hub to the route start, and we’ll supply your Metro fare.

(Limited slots available) Help run one of our hubsites – set up a table and banner, sign in volunteers, assign walking routes and hand out supplies. Then chill until they return a few hours later (bring a book!). Let us know if you are interested in being the Hub Captain – to pick up the hub’s supplies a week in advance of the event and get a quick training on what to do.
